As my class was scolded for doing absoluteley nothing by our overly sarcastic and often moody instructor, she put us in a very juvenile time out. We literally had to sit in silence for fifteen minutes twiddling our thumbs or staring blankly into nowhere. I turned to the window and took in everything I saw. The clear billions upon trillions of raindrops. The glistening leaves on massive trees. The cars weaving in and out of puddles. And all of a sudden thunder hit in a 'creeping up on someone' way then cracked like God's whip. I nearly feel off my chair. See normally I'm not afraid of thunder but this perticular sound scared the shit outta me. Then I got to thinking. I wish thunder could be visual. That way I could take a shot of it. What would it look like? Maybe God's hands gripping open the skies. When I hear thunder I see, a child being scared after their mother yells out their name after they've done something wrong. Could you imagine if we could capture 'things' in jars for future refrence. I would have a collection of laughs, the strange noises my dog makes when he's unsure and the sound of rainstorms... you?
